Anyways, since TikTok won't let me watch videos anymore without agreeing to allow them to track the location of my phone in real time whether I'm in the app or not and to show targeted ads both in and out of the app, I'm back on Rednote learning Chinese from the aunties 😂

I don't doubt that there will be changes like this, but also TikTok has been completely broken all day for me. It's showing me random videos that wouldn't normally be on my FYP (I curated it to cats and sourdough), and I can't see likes or comments on any video at all.
I know it's hard to track all the threats to democracy out there right now, but this is at the top of the list.

I passed on Stanford. The only tickets left were going to be obstructed views. There aren't any shows closer than 2 states away from me, so if I have to fly and get a hotel, I want to see the performance on the stage. I can watch the show on a screen for free at home.
