I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mohammed. Mohammed was a lawyer prior to all of this and his wife Miran was a pharmacist. Both their businesses were destroyed. They were able to move back to their home in the North with their children Ziad, 6 and Mirna, 3 but it has no roof.

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>The majority of Palestinian prisoners from Gaza who died in Israeli prisons were civilians, according to a parallel investigation.</p>
<p>At least 98 Palestinians have died in custody since October 2023, in many cases seemingly as a direct result of torture, medical neglect, and starvation, <a href="https://www.phr.org.il/en/palestinian-deaths-behind-bars-eng/">according to</a> Israeli data obtained by the Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHRI).</p>
<p>The real death toll of Palestinians in Israeli jails is likely to be substantially higher because hundreds of people detained in Gaza are missing, an Israel-based human rights group has said.</p>
<p>In its own reports, the Israeli army classified less than one-third of those Palestinians detained from Gaza as militants, the investigation found.</p>
