God, I sure hope the Rapture is tomorrow and that everyone who believes in it goes.

The rest of us will experience Heaven on Earth.

So is it acetaminophen or Tylenol? Because acetaminophen is in other brand name drugs as well. What exactly are we talking about?

Canceling Hulu. Canceled subscription to Paramoont when Colbert was fired. It’s okay. I love to read.

I’ve started 2025 with a broken left ankle and a sprained right ankle. I knew it was going to be the start of fresh hell, granted it has taken an odd form. But sure, bring on snowmageddon/ice apocalypse. I can’t leave my house anyway.

Per custom, the flags will be at half staff for 30 days due to the death of a former President….

Which means it will be at half staff on Inauguration Day.

Excellent timing President Carter 🙃

Dear god. To think, these could have been our people. I love everything about them and this post. “It’s not the new year yet” is everything.
Set those resolutions now, people.

Y’all, I have become a dog person. I have been scared of dogs because my great grandma had a hyper little nipper when I was 3. But I have the sweetest granddog (my daughter’s) and will soon have another one that will live with me (21 yo son that lives here) Who even am I?!

Getting “Anne Frank” vibes
Homan: It is a felony to knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien from immigration authorities. It's a felony to impede in law enforcement. Don't cross that line because there will be consequences and thank god we've got a strong Attorney General coming in.. I will push those prosecutions..

People are selfish assholes. What happened?
Trans Women: I am going to vent about this specific terrible thing that trans women face.

Everyone else: Ok, but have you also considered this massive list of Whataboutisms we’ve got on hand to completely derail your conversation? Well, have you??

In a perfect world this headline would make no sense. He wasn’t elected, he should have no power. But it’s T’s world now and we’re just living (dying) in it.
Musk has 'declared war on Social Security'

"Interesting thread," Musk wrote late Monday in response to the posts by Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who once said he hopes to pull Social Security "up by the roots and get rid of it," along with Medicare and Medicaid.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. Our country is huge. For an immediate reaction we have to depend on the people who live near DC. Even if we plan state protests they are spread throughout the state. Centralized protests require travel. Most can’t afford it or have no transportation.
The people of South Korea didn't wait, they showed up. Immediately.

No man has done more to undermine our Democracy than Sen McConnell (R-KY) He took to the floor to complain that two federal judges said they weren’t going to resign because Trump won. Remember in 2020 he was actively seeking out judges to resign so the Trump could replace them. Oh the hypocrisy!!

You thought the rollback of basic human rights was going to stop at abortion?

Abortion is just the beginning.

And if you don't care about #LGBT people, so you think it's ok if we lose the right to marry the person we love, just wait. They'll come for you too.
