Dear Democratic lawmakers, this is your "I am Spartacus" moment.
MS NOW confirms: The FBI is working with Capitol Police to schedule interviews with the six Democratic lawmakers who urged service members to refuse to comply with illegal orders.

Jesus Christ... at least Dick Cheney pretended that Iraq wasn't about oil.
Rep. Salazar on Venezuela: "We're about to go in ... we need to go in ... Venezuela for the American oil companies will be a field day"

There simply is no comparison.
Teapot Dome-like scandals get buried by Trump calling for the execution of political opponents. Any Republican official who is found guilty of corruption is instantly pardoned.
And the "Trump Library" is a slush fund for open acts of bribery, esp by foreign actors.
Does the BBC think it's improper for a speaker to state their opinion that Donald Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history?

Because I think almost all historians would readily agree that Donald Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history.
BBC censors a lecture removing author’s remarks on Trump that refer to him a the most openly corrupt American president.

Turns out it wasn't a fluke...

Every major presidential scandal in American history would be, at most, a secondary story in an average day of Trump's second term.
Any other POTUS would rightly be impeached/convicted/removed w/in a day if they put a foreign Air Force base in Idaho in exchange for a personal Air Force One.
Seriously, what other president is even remotely in his league?

There was corruption in the Grant and Harding administrations, but the presidents were largely uninvolved. Nixon committed crimes in secret but didn't really line his own pockets.

Trump is like a Thomas Nast cartoon come to life.

I asked a student about their essay, which I suspect was AI-generated. One of the issues is that it is completely free of spelling and grammatical issues.
The student's explanation is that they use Notepad and proofread.
My question is: who still uses Notepad for word processing in 2025?!?

The Eagles deserved to lose that game. I hate how streaky this offense is and how incapable they are of recovering from offensive penalties. Every goddamn offensive penalty is a drive killer. Every goddamn time.

Elise Stefanik giving up her cushy House leadership post to run for NY Gov in a Trump 6th-year midterm is a level of political delusion we once held specially for Ted Cruz selecting Carly Fiorina as his running mate to stop Trump at the last second.

Every illegal and corrupt act they get away with sets the precedent for future administrations doing the exact same thing. The corruption and malice of Trump's White House must be relentlessly exposed.
There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

I guess Trump seriously miscalculated how important the Epstein Files are to the MAGA base and how willing Dems would be to throw Bill Clinton to the wolves. Trump ran on releasing the Files, assuming he could distract his base enough to have them forget about them... as they always do.

Utter nonsense.
