Come on people, social media didn’t make kids bad at reading comprehension. That frames the unacceptable as inevitable. Mass disinvestment from humanities education, from teaching nuance, critique, and deliberation did. Policy is the problem and policy is the solution. Eyes on the prize.

Having a convention at the end of the week is like a week-long version of the I-have-a-phone-call-at-3pm problem. It’s too far away to do anything about just yet but also too close to focus on anything else. LOVE being neurodivergent

One thing that I wish people knew about videogames is that the people creating the videogame & who have a good sense of the pillars of the videogame are actually oftentimes completely ignored by the people doing the marketing and advertising for that videogame, to the extent that it’s a shock to us
