People with disabilities/chronic illness need accommodations to work that are almost never offered by employers to the full, including working under 50%, they have often dynamic health issues that can come out of nowhere, and need jobs with a lot of flexibility in terms of output and hours worked.

these, however, do not hold a candle to the time a family friend, EXTREMELY hung over when the Jehovah's Witnesses knocked on the door early on a weekend morning, opened the door naked, saw who it was, moaned, "No...no...oh, *fuck*, no..." & closed the door again.
The JWs never came back. Ever. :))

Yes! Side effects like crushing fatigue from medications like Metformin are a major reason for stopping a medication - it doesn't matter how good for you a medication is in the long term if it leaves you unable to function in your day to day life.
