So I hesitated on posting this, but because of the danger this threat poses, I feel like it Has to be seen. Trump is openly calling his followers to arm up and go into liberal areas to not just disrupt the vote but do what appears to be violence. This is an extremely dangerous step he’s making

I think the best possible reason to celebrate Kissinger's death - to be as loud and crude and discourteous as possible about it, to never stop saying what he did, to stink bomb the funerals and piss on the graves - is to let todays war criminals know that we will do it to them too.
I guess.... Kissinger is a reminder to all of us just how little the judgement of history actually means, and how the way the rich, the powerful and the safe feted him for years shows who they truly are and what they truly believe more than anything they profess in office

Normally I would have something snarky to say, but at this point everyone needs to take Trump and his team at their word they are laying out the plans for a military dictatorship and fascist violence of the kind that no one in this country has ever experienced. This is explicitly fascism.

part of the reason that centering the gaza discourse around hamas is so fruitless is that there's no group of people on this planet who, if placed into an open air prison then bombed and starved for decades on end, would not develop militant movements with insular, reactionary politics

This is an incredibly banal framing for something that is incredibly dangerous. When fully armed members of an increasingly dangerous, far right group start to show up to intimidate children and parents the prerequisite conditions for civil conflict are being formed.
