Today, I learned that Chrysler sold a van version of the PT Cruiser in The Netherlands. It was a classic case of exploiting tax loopholes. The rear hatch was redesigned to increase the interior volume to meet the van regulations.

Today, I learned that Chrysler sold a van version of the PT Cruiser in The Netherlands. It was a classic case of exploiting tax loopholes. The rear hatch was redesigned to increase the interior volume to meet the van regulations.

I finally got round to watching season 2 of Severance, one thing that can’t go unnoticed is that the cars in the “outie world“ are all pre 2000. Gives it that nonspecific period in time vibe, a bit like Gattaca. Here’s a neat article about the car casting.

I stopped driving in 2019, simply because I couldn’t afford to and didn’t need to. Sometimes I miss random drives, exploring roads I’ve never been down before. But on the flip side I’ve got to know my local area so much better on foot, I’m fortunate to live in close proximity to a National Park.

This Ka was purchased from a scrapyard, it was there after an MOT test deemed it unroadworthy for serious but easy to fix failure. HubNut and @upndown.bsky.social sorted it out and now it’s fully legal.

We've been down on the beach today picking up firework debris. It's odd, isn't it, that you can be fined £250 for dropping litter but somehow it's OK to launch rockets containing plastic casings into the sky.

It’s van truck time, this Honda was rear ended so of course the logical thing to do was cut the back off and turn into the truck. In this instance, it’s been done so a mobility scooter could be loaded into the rear.
