I like cars, but our world shouldn’t be built around them.

Also on IG as autoverse.
Adds to the quasi utilitarian look.

I saw some pics yesterday of an Astra Van that had to have the roof altered to meet the regulations.

That looks like it’s destined to sell overpriced coffee of questionable quality at a village fête.

I’ve seen pictures other passenger cars that have been modified to meet NL van regs with changes to the roof skin, giving them awkward looking bumps.

Just so happens I stumbled upon a similarly styled Beetle on street view this morning, when checking out a local road. I used to see it at my college, on one occasion it was blaring out Earth Song by Michael Jackson.

Maybe the person who listed it, just heard “90 Land Rover” and assumed it was the model year.

Can’t help but ponder the possibility of bread being sold like coffee pods, with exclusive dimensions for compatibility with certain toasters.

My 09 Passat (Typ 3C / B6 for those that care) has one. I remember when I test drove it and found myself reaching for a non existent lever, as it was muscle memory to do so. I got used to it very quickly, so much so that I’ve accidentally driven a car with the handbrake engaged (short distance).

I think the vessel alongside Vosper Thornycroft might be a frigate that was built for the Brazilian Navy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niter%C...

The aircraft in this image was sold to the RAF in 1981, either for parts or to be converted into a tanker.

Although there was one vehicle that stood out as being newer than the 90s and that was the Lumon Shuttle Bus. But to be fair it’s a Chevy Express and they’ve been in production forever, it’s just this one had the post 2003 facelift. And let’s be honest, most folks wouldn’t pay attention to it.

The wheel on the cover looks like it’s from a Porsche 911 Carrera S (997).

YT put this one in my recommended feed, I think watched this when it was broadcasted. Reminds me that I used to get all the free classified ad papers and spend my pocket money on Auto Trader, setting myself fictional budgets and scoured the ads. youtu.be/CUVmNCdf4tI?...
