A random research rabbit hole led me to this, a Tasmanian Mini Moke that was converted into a van to deliver mail.

The conversion consists of a tall bolt on canopy and part of the body work being cut away to allow easier access for the postie. The truck in this video is an interesting one, Land Rover body but with weird dimensions. That’s because it’s fitted on a 77 K5 Blazer chassis. Incidentally the song is pretty chilled out too.

Front 3/4 perspective of what at first glance looks like a pink Land Rover. But the proportions are off, wider than a Landie and it’s got a protruding snout like radiator grille that has a gold Chevy bow tie. It’s got the original Blazer bumper with a UK registration plate (which I checked to confirm my suspicions about the ID).

Flickr, reminding me that my sub lapsed, as if it’s a bit of admin that’s slipped my mind. It lapsed 11 years ago, when I decided it wasn’t worth it and back then it was about $25 and these days it’s about $80.

The tread of a spare tyre, old but barely used. In the middle of the tread there’s some random letters, from an appliqué that might have been on a t-shirt or a hat. The letters are “ft” and the typeface is Pricedown, white with a black border. At the time of posting this image I’ve been awake since Wednesday, it’s presently the early hours of Friday morning.

Found myself looking at listings of imported salvage cars, this Mini for example is a JDM import with no documents. But the seller will include documents for another car for some reason. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12737160...
A dark green classic Mini with a white roof, it’s a late 90s car with larger wheels and wide arches. It’s covered in dust and is missing the drivers side headlight and the grille. The car is in a workshop environment with a classic Ferrari behind it. A visual clue to it being a JDM import is an old “Cooper” badge on the bonnet, as it’s popular mod in Japan. I got rid of fb years ago, when I did have it I would occasionally post random ideas I had for modding cars (usually VWs). Quite often these thoughts would pop into my head after work, as I walked back to my car. I found this low res screenshot in my archives, I think the post was made in 2013.
Vision: MK2 Golf, big bumpers (indicators shaved). Rallye lights/grille with indicators hidden within. G60 arches, slammed over seventeens, namely Azev A. Single wiper conversion. No door mirrors, big window doors, only two of them. Audi 80 door handles (not colour coded). 1.8T engine, oval tail pipe. Hatch smoothed with a proper plate recess in the bumper, all red tail lights. Painted in Jazz Blue. [dubbing by numbers]

Bit of a bump for this thread, just found a screenshot of an fb post I made in 2012 where I described the idea in my mind.
Screenshot of Facebook (I got rid of fb years ago), it’s from the iOS app circa 2015 and it’s showing the “On this Day” feed. The post in question was made in 6th November 2012 at 18:01. It was a random idea that popped into my head as walking back to my car after work and I felt compelled to write it down. Idea: Candy white Lupo, smoothed bodywork. 3L nose with gloss black between the indicators. Cut down TT dash covered in brown leather, TTR baseball stitch seats, 3L wheel. Subtle ICE*. Rear seats removed, teak decking from behind seats to hatch, maybe panel van conversion. Over banded steels with chrome caps…not sure about rimmage. * (in car entertainment)

The first generation EcoSport clearly used the Fusion as a basis but with some restyling and a rear end that vaugely looked like an Explorer.

Seems to be focusing on the blue aspect of the search, looking for text. I had similar results, for instance this example is just a page from a book.

For me it’s the Sail.
Chinese market Buick Sail, which is a sedan version of the Opel Corsa (second generation referred to as the Corsa B by geeks like me). The example in the photo is blue, looks like it’s going fast with a blurred background. It’s probs being driven at no more than 3mph it’s just the shutter speed of the camera that has exaggerated the motion.

Here’s something from a few weeks ago from an evening walk.
An Esso filling station at night seen from across the street. It’s surrounded by darkness (apart from a solitary sodium street light to the right), the forecourt is illuminated and there’s an ASDA shop behind the pumps.

They also make the Fushun which is based on the Transit from about 20 years ago. The facelift does a better job of giving the van a modern appearance, looks to be somewhat inspired by Ford’s pickup trucks.
