Starting to get worried that booking a vacation 10 days after Thanksgiving was a bad idea. All of my son's classmates will be at family gatherings, swapping illnesses over break....and then bringing them to school.

We leave for vacation in just under 4 weeks. I hope we can all stay healthy for our trip but I'm nervous about it. The staff in my son's classroom have been sick so that stresses me out. Thankfully, when my son gets sick, he gets over things pretty quickly usually. I, however, don't.

Well....someone I considered a friend has been arrested on trafficking charges, among other horrible things. I learned of this 2 days ago and I'm still in total shock. As are all of our mutual friends. We are now all questioning our judgement and can't believe we were friends with such a person!

I know the country is crumbling around us and it's terrifying. But I'm so glad I have a Disneyland trip in 51 days. It's not a very long vacation but I hope it energizes me. I've been feeling very "blah" lately. And kind of in some weird mental fog. I'm not confident the trip will help but maybe!

Today is the day we try to get approved for the disability pass at Disneyland. Our son has used the pass for 7 years now, I think. At both WDW and Disneyland. But we've only had to apply once since they got super strict with the rules. He was approved then but it was a nail biter. So I'm nervous.

An old woman in my city is on the news, complaining about trees being planted on her street. She's pissed because she bought the house for the "lake view" and now the trees will obstruct her view. She's also saying they will be a safety hazard, among other things. This is the tree she's mad about.
