I had to reassure an older coworker today that she wasn't being "a downer" in grieving the recent passing of a long-time friend. I had to tell her it was normal and appropriate-- it's not like she'd devolved into unprofessionalism.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

WIP. There's a dragon-scale shawl pattern that I really like because it works with a wide variety of yarns and its size is easily adjusted. I've made several of these before, and they always come out so nice. Might start putting them up for sale soon.
