It is a little weird to me countries aren’t more aggressively, formally trying to take advantage of the U.S. science brain drain. Once in a lifetime opportunity to buy low on Non-Dumbass Americans with PhDs who just wanna look into microscopes and quietly cure ass cancer as our country eats shit.

Un-American. You don't have to understand the trans experience to agree that they understand their own experience better than outsiders do. They deserve the respect and support of every American. Bills like this one are in direct opposition to the dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
I need y'all to sit with this headline and understand what is being done to our community. They're trying to criminalize our very existence.

This is a campaign of eradication.

Stand with trans Americans. You don’t have to understand everything about the transgender experience to know that Trump’s acts of humiliation and dehumanization are unjust and dangerous.

Hey @scalzi.com Starter Villain’s audiobook was the perfect companion on a long road trip today. Really enjoyed the characters, dialogue, and the uniquely entertaining story! Gonna hug my cats when I get home.

People are not getting the messages they need the most. As our government information systems (CDC, NOAA) get dismantled, this is getting worse.

Truth doesn't have a marketing budget, so spreading those messages is up to us.

ONE solution to this, is street art.

Worried about losing access to US federal data that may go off-line, or already is? You’re not alone—but duplication isn’t the answer.

Many ongoing efforts have already archived key datasets and many more are ongoing. Check out these existing resources and, if you can, support their work. 🧵

The idea that powerful people will soon be working to subject an entire nation to much more sickness and suffering by undermining or even taking away some of the most miraculously effective tools humanity has against disease is truly horrifying

Hoping today is a good day for Raspi-NOAA. This is in California. It's a control for the Colorado setup that was, in fact, hindered by interference from a faulty antenna at a local radio station in the same business park.

Alright, here's my first stab at an OG #SpaceTweeps list. OG, in this case, being before they switched to Socials (2011 and prior). Who am I missing?

Wicked lives up to the hype. Run time and "Part 1" are not factors. Totally worth it IMO if you liked the theater version.

Delivered my first communications/IoT satellite proposal today. With a big enough antenna, even a 6U cubesat can do important things.

About me: I sell ideas for a living. But then, I get to work with my friends, old and new, to manifest the ideas in reality through years of creative problem solving together. I do that for a living too. Both of these are the fun part.
