Sun is out at pad 39B, hopefully bringing some warmth to the teams out at the pad, its chilly !

Currently ~3°C with the temperature advisory still active at KSC until 08:30 local.

It seems overnight the KSC team has fixed the NASA live-stream, excellent :)

Per the NASA update, they were doing tests with the baskets and correcting the break settings

Nice video of the egress system here

So, per the NASA update, looks like they might attempt WDR as early as Saturday, as already mentioned below, cold weather might be an issue however.

Case in point, at KSC there is a temperature advisory in effect currently, for temps below 40 F (5 C)

At least I have KSC getting back to me on the issue they are having with the pad 39B live-stream...

So I got that going for me.... Which is nice...

Meanwhile at 39B, all the slide-wire baskets are back in place

Wondering about a possible WDR this weekend ?

Weather might be an issue, they are predicting cold weather and the LCC (Launch Commit Criteria) for tanking (for launch.. but still..) call for temps above 41.4 F (~5 C)

As we are getting closer to the Artemis II launch, go watch this excellent Apollo 8 documentary, as it has been a while since we last did this...

So in a nutshell, its building 1610 at Vandenberg, and they may have changed/painted the access door if you go by the 2023 satellite image...

And yes I'll stop nerding over the facility now 😇

Interesting find, at Vandenberg the X-37B "hides" in this building (OTV-2 image left) it seems this building was used in 2008 for NOAA N Prime (right image), so now I have another image of the building

Side note: X-37B OTV-7 landed at Vandenberg, my guess is it is still using the same building...

As these building handbooks have interesting information, however are slowly disappearing from the NASA website and not available on NTRS, I'm saving them to archive.org
