Not surprised to hear NG-2 delaying due to the current solar activity. The ESCAPADE trajectory would take the spacecraft through some of the worst of the radiation, makes sense to wait it out rather than try and power through it.

We have upgraded our geomagnetic forecast today (12 November 2025) to the highest intensity level amid an ongoing solar storm.

Current predictions suggest that the activity will result in potentially the largest solar storm to hit our planet in over two decades.

Starting my internship at Amentum today, working out at Kennedy Space Center, has me feeling a bit like this, honestly ... been waiting so long for today 🚀✨🤩

Have to say, a malicious government run by oligarchs relentlessly slashing jobs and programs that’s mixed with destructive tariffs, maxed out debt, historic inequality, and AI as a product that doesn’t make money despite having all the major corporations going all in hashes out to economic disaster.

One of the best things you can do right now is read books. Buy them. Borrow them from the library. Gift them.

Read history. Read fiction. Read science writing. Read anything that shows you the world is bigger than what fascists say it is.

Read to remember why your resistance matters. 📚💙

After @astrosherie.space and I lost our beloved Katniss earlier this month, we decided to adopt this beautiful furbaby that we've named Katie...already now known as also Katie-Kat, Katie Cane, Katie the Koala & the Velveteen Rabbit (very soft)! She is scared but sweet & has claimed the linen closet!

Sadly, @atmocheryl.space & I had to say goodbye to our sweet, beautiful Katniss last night. She was 14 and battling recent lymphoma. She had the best purrs & adorable cheeps & saw us through 3 moves, our B.S. degrees & a million memories. She's completely irreplaceable & we will miss her forever! 🌈😇

Just for fun? What's the oldest song in your Christmas collection (if you listen to Christmas music)? @astrosherie.space & I listen to lots of modern songs but we do have several in our list from the 1950's, one of the oldest is Kay Starr's "The Man with the Bag" 🎅, still one of our very favorites!
