Last week was an absolute whirlwind that started with seeing a spacecraft going to the Moon’s south pole and ended with getting engaged in Big Bend National Park (I was COMPLETELY surprised too🥹)

Yesterday I hung out a Moon tech company and their next lunar lander. Today I noticed an older couple really excited about the Artemis exhibit at the Houston airport so I asked if they wanted to see a cool pic. I showed them the lander and then

I BOOPED A SPACECRAFT GOING TO THE MOON YESTERDAY!!!! Actually a rocket-powered drone that’s gonna help us look for water inside a permanently shadowed crater!!!! And I got to hang out in one of the potential next lunar landers for the astronauts!!!!

Yes, I am over here too. Yes, I always forget to post here because

1) I have to admit I don’t understand how this model is viable long-term (bsky is not profitable yet)

Artemis II, the first crewed mission back to the Moon since 1972, has been delayed to April 2026, though this isn't a surprising development

The delay is largely due to issues they found with the heat shield during the Artemis I uncrewed test flight back in late 2022 (see pics from NASA below).
