Of course it feels different. Optimism was high last year, coming off a great season that saw us within a whisker of winning it all..
This year, coming off a very disappointing season and watching Liverpool spending huge on attackers after walking the PL last season… less optimism.

Germanys last line of defense has been stellar. I’m not sure if it’s sustainable, but they’re putting on a masterful display. All of Spains successful take ons and dangerous balls are met with a perfectly placed second defender.

Would be quite sad if Liverpool sign Ekitike, but it's definitely an easier pill to swallow than them getting Isak.
There's so much to love about his game; his quick feet, his combination play, the way he moves around the pitch - his finishing will click eventually.
