This morning in Minneapolis, an ICE vehicle got stuck on an icy hill in a residential neighborhood. Agents had to push the vehicles out, some almost slipping in the ice themselves.

To me the most important thing re public opinion is that it doesn't actually DO anything. It's there to mine as a resource for good or bad. There is no easy correlation between public opinion and policy. Lots of popular things will never be enacted as policy. Lots of unpopular things will.
