28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE blew my expectations away, as someone who didn’t like the last film, I really enjoyed this one & want more with these characters. Fiennes gives one of his career best performances, especially in the 3rd act & the ending has me hyped for what’s next #FilmSky #MovieSky

THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB is one of the most powerful, devastating films I’ve seen in a while. The film uses the actual voice recordings of a Palestinian child trapped in a car under fire in Gaza mixed in with recreations of real footage, this film is a necessary viewing experience #FilmSky #MovieSky

THE BAD GUYS 2 is a fun return to the world of the characters from the first film but doesn’t ever reach the heights of the original. Regardless of that, I still enjoyed my time watching it and would welcome another, this cast in these roles is a lot of fun #MovieSky #FilmSky

PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS was exactly what I expected, a badass action movie with sick animation and amazing fight scenes. Doesn’t need to be more than that but it also introduces 3 interesting characters in an anthology format and makes you hungry for more #FilmSky #MovieSky

THE MASTERMIND is one of the most interesting paced/developed movies of the year. An engaging premise told very slowly and then the plot kind of ends halfway through but the cameras keep rolling. Definitely not something that will work for most people but I think I liked it. #MovieSky #FilmSky

SORRY, BABY is one of those films that draws you in with its humor & charm, and then punches you in the gut with some really devastating, emotional moments, all without losing its rhythm. Eva Victor is phenomenal as Lead actress, writer, & director & deserves all the praise #FilmSky #MovieSky

HIGHEST 2 LOWEST is a styles clash, with the first half featuring some truly strange & off-putting filmmaking decisions and the second half showcasing incredible intensity & focus while Denzel shines like the star he is. The score was horrible, the script is wonky, but it’s entertaining #FilmSky

DANGEROUS ANIMALS isn’t a typical shark infested horror movie, which works to its benefit. Jai Courtney plays a fun psychotic villain against two characters that you want to root for. I think the movie goes a step too far in momentum shifts but it’s still exciting & engaging #MovieSky #FilmSky

SUBMARINE is a funny, charming, & weird snapshot of a time & place I can’t relate to that still hammers home the universal feelings everyone felt growing up. It truly feels like one of the most self-expressive works I’ve seen, the cinematography & music feel so specific & special #MovieSky #FilmSky

WARFARE is a unique version of American war films, both seemingly operating on the same line as propaganda while also not shying away from the US’s horrific actions during the Iraq war. It almost removes itself from intention with the way it’s presented, just showcasing 90 minutes of war. #FilmSky

IS THIS THING ON? Is one of my favorite films of the year with Will Arnett & Laura Dern giving some of the most authentic & sincere performances I’ve seen in a minute. Bradley Cooper is great both in the film and as director, definitely worth watching in theaters! #FilmSky #MovieSky
