Israel’s Foreign Ministry confirmed via a press release posted to socials that Israeli naval forces seized the Handala. It claims the civilians aboard are safe. Meanwhile, crew members' pleas for help from their governments are being posted to @freedomflotilla.bsky.social.
The Handala has been boarded by at least half a dozen armed and uniformed individuals. Cameras are down again; at least one appeared to have been turned off or damaged by one of the armed individuals who boarded.
