About this Florida vaccine story:

When they were little - 1 yr and 3 1/2 - my two older boys, who’d had all their shots, got whooping cough.

We asked their pediatrician what would’ve happened if they hadn’t been vaccinated.

“Oh, they’d have died.”

It feels like, in general, people are quite entitled lately and have very little thought as to how their actions affect the people around them. It makes me not want to go in public, which is why I was completely over everything back in May.

A Christianity rooted in patriarchy will always define women first and foremost by their relationship to men.

A Christianity rooted in the gospel of Jesus will always see women first and foremost as fellow human beings created in God's image.

May we understand the difference.

At the wind up of it, it has largely been impossible to recreate what was happening on Christian Twitter. I sometimes miss that, but all good things must end. :)

I rejoined Threads and engagement there is great, but their algorithm is WOOF, it amplifies, but it pushes outrage like crazy. It's disheartening. But I get way more engagement there than I do here.

Apparently warning systems to alert people about imminent weather events is considered far left stuff that must be destroyed?

It's just so stupid and dangerous. Nonsensical.

Glad to see the guy who was rude to the girl at the restaurant over her TikTok was fired. So many retail and restaurant workers are so rude now, they act very rude and put out to be there, like you’re inconveniencing them by paying for their services.
