I’m excited for all the new urbanist changes that the Philippines implemented since I last visited!
No big deal. Just Mayor Joy Belmonte and the Quezon City government spending the weekend to close streets off to cars, and giving space back to people and communities. Leadership.

Take note that Mastercard usage for train and bus fares is still being evaluated in a technical study, with no timeline provided yet for its rollout. Beep cards also remain in use.
