Among all of the other vaccine denialist lies he tells; RFK Jr. pretends that because he did not know anyone with peanut allergies when he was a kid, vaccines are responsible.

The reality is epinephrine autoinjectors were not available before the 1980s; so kids with peanut allergies simply died.

For #caturday I spent 2 hours at the vet. When Instacart delivers your cat food, make sure it’s the usual flavor, not a different one with a similarly colored label that might cause an allergic reaction 🤦🏻‍♀️

A team of archivists has recreated the pre-Trump CDC website as a live, easy-to-navigate website that should be indexed by Google. The team is hosting it in Europe. Cool project that is sadly necessary:

Losing NOAA would be devastating. Project 2025 authors want to get rid of it because it monitors climate change, and privatize the information it currently provides for free, so you'll have to buy information about the weather and the winds (imperative for mariners).

I don’t read a lot of romance books, but part of almost every contemporary romance is the female lead not just finding a romantic relationship, but also strengthening a best friend/sister relationship. Having close female friendships is as big a part of the fantasy as finding the love of your life.
