I know about masíve use of seashells at Friland, DK. Was main foundation solution when I visited in 2004! Seems the French have rediscovered this foamglass aggregate substitute.
Floor and foundation enthusiasts, crawl space enjoyers, here is probably something going on that you have not seen before. Seashells, hemp crete, cork etc.

Yes! Our meta-analysis shows that people rate true news as more accurate than false news (d = 1.12) and were better at spotting false news than at recognizing true news (d = 0.32).
