Wine grape update: this appears to be as ripe as they are going to get. A friend just came by to take several pounds to make kombucha & seemed happy with the haul.

It doesn’t seem like the birds are interested, but I might leave the rest up just in case.

Next year: thin harder & earlier. 🌱

Our 4 hens are so radical. I am consistently surprised just how enjoyable it is keeping hens. They make hilarious noises, ranging from chirrups - pwoks - shrieking and will chat with you. They are the closest in manner to keeping velociraptors I can imagine. And they feed me tasty eggs! 💟🐔🐔🐔🐔🧡

Leafy greens are easier than tomatoes and peppers. My dream is one of those farming systems that can make and sustain Buffalo wings, but i don't know how to put chickens in an aquaponics system yet
