This was our first summer with a sizable porch! We made pickles from the cukes and peppers from our first garden, had some really pretty blossoms, and learned a lot for next year! 🌱

Learned the hard way that a sudden windfall of carrots is a lot of work to deal with. The community garden 🌱 folks were desperate to offload them so I took about 20 pounds. I made pickled carrots (and that pickled jalapeno is also from the garden) but good lord it was more work than it was worth.
