This is O'Connor's argument that the restructuring of forces, relations, or ecological, social, and infrastructural conditions generates more transparently social, and therefore potentially socialist, forms of production and life. Maybe? Denaturing markets, power, etc., is dangerous to capital.

Dude, Dems ran a climate scientist grad student from Gainesville in that rural district... 100% a lamb to slaughter. They need a rancher, extension agent, commodity trader, or equivalent. Anyway Dems aren't gonna take rural Fl any time soon, it's retirement/urban where the opportunity likely is.

Another "Democrats have an opportunity to..." article, as if the "centrist" leadership isn't 1000% aware of that opportunity and desire more than anything else that the opportunity and people associated with it be crushed under their boots.

Wait, why would the people on SNAP or the ACA go out of their way to vote for the party that just screwed them, having promised to fight to the death on those issues? Are there Dem candidates in FL running on progressive platforms who publicly loathe the Party's "centrist" leadership?

Tonight's capitulation shows that we need new, fighting leaders not only in the Democratic Party, but also in our unions
Their cowardice and routinism snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory
