I hate it when horrible people love me. What did I do to deserve THAT? 😂

New Rome metro stations showcase ancient treasures after years of delays
After years of delays and spiralling costs, Rome inaugurated two new metro stations on Tuesday, including one by the Colosseum, showcasing archaeological discoveries that might become tourist attractions in their own right.

People are lined up around the block to go to a local bakery that isn't any good because of TikTok. The good spot is 2 blocks over hahaha 🥐

And everyone knows Reservoir Dogs is a ripoff of City on Fire

Alt: GIF the film City On Fire A group of men in suits turn toward the camera and walk forward menacingly. Just as in Reservoir Dogs.

This Marjorie Taylor Green thing is a psyop to keep white Republican women who cannot stomach pedophilia loyal to the party at the very least.

We peep game on you hoes.

Watching the "Greene Tap Dancing to Save Her Own Skin" show. We don't forget that easily and she is no hero.

Watched Guillermo del Toro's #Frankenstein and so loved the use of bold colour and nature in the visual storytelling. Mia Goth as Elizabeth kept striking a childhood memory though. Finally realized her character reminded me of Jessica, the kind teacher in Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. Cuz I'm old!

One of my favourite things to do - showing people one of my tall rooftop apiaries and then letting them taste raw honey straight from the hives.
Honeybees are one of the best ways to showcase the connection between the health of the landscape and the quality of food that it can produce.

Wistful thought of the day:

If our world had been built purely on trade and exchange instead of "conquering to get stuff" how beautiful it could have been.

My barometer for knowing the state of the economy are weddings. I live next to a rich bitch mansion wedding venue. It's a dance party every weekend year 'round. Big Bands, Jazz Bands, Motown DJs, Bollywood DJs, Country Dances, Chairs in the Air celebrations. It's been silent for weeks.

My GG Grandfather was a Captain who fought in the Civil War. I have his memoir of battle and death and his witnessing Appomattox. In towns bodies were piled 5 high around them and the stench of death was everywhere. Trust me when I say you don't want that.
Get it together people.

We Asians are pretty kind people who value community...but are certainly not doormats. Don't forget we have warrior ancestors and Genghis Khan's DNA.

Chinese Camp burning down makes me glad I have such a good childhood memory bank. Dad was a State Park Historian and took us there, to Columbia and all the surrounding Gold Rush areas to teach us about CA history... but also instill some Asian appreciation and pride in us.

This is heartbreaking. I love this tiny piece of our California history. I feel so bad for the people who live and work there.
Most of Chinese Camp has burned to the ground, according to Chronicle photojournalist @stephenlamphoto.bsky.social. Some residents of the historic Gold Rush town stayed to fight the blaze, despite evacuation orders.

OMG no one in the streets, the park, the beach or the post office! I love the off season in our village. Only locals and the usual con artists - no instagram tourists.

So THAT'S why my Dad wore his red bandanas and said he was a "redneck." He was a Historian showing support on Labor Day and I was too young to get it.

YOU WANT TO KNOW ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA

You get to interact with humans you'd likely not have contact with IRL/meatspace because our worlds in meatspaces are limited by time/money/distance/access.

Bitterness gets one nowhere.

If one is nowhere the collective cannot find you.

The collective needs your hope.
