When we had billionaires like Gates that funded charity we were relaxed about them. But some of us warned you: it's still just one man's whim. He could defund the work instantly. Musk proves the point. The way to ensure billionaires' money isn't used for ill is through taxation

I've somehow managed to spread this over 3 days. In my defence it says it needs 2 people to build so bits have been awkward. Have installed lights inside, which are great to have, though the instructions for them showed 4 different ways to fit them (confusingly) and lots of extra parts.
Bought one of those Pax design it yourself wardrobes in IKEA this afternoon. Back feels a tiny bit busted. After getting it home I can see the packing list says it's 149kg, with one box being 42kg. Isn't even that big. Might leave word I'm to be buried in it.

Hospitality Ulster win again, backing lobbyists over the experts. NI's outdated licensing surrender system perpetuates the status quo, favours the big boys, and raises high barriers to entry. It is the opposite of competitive and means we all pay more for our nights out.

Got a text message this morning from a work colleague saying someone else connected to the business was wondering if I could give him a call. 2 days FFS.
Got signed off for 2 weeks by my doc today due to a bullying boss who's given me high blood pressure and buckets of stress. He's been overloading me at different points of the year by shifting some of his work on to me even when I was rammed. Never had to be off for stress before in all my days.
