I've used Alpha in Carryduff. Pros and cons, they're based on a farm and you're limited to daytime access M-F, half day Saturday. They have all sizes of units in a purpose built warehouse, prices are good, place is secure.

TUPE has been mentioned, but my boss hasn't put in writing that it'll apply. I've spoken to (I think) LRA and they thought it would apply.

The business is for sale and the assumption is that I'm going over to whoever the purchaser will be. Apparently it's the selling agent trying to get me, presumably to line up a meeting between me and the proposed purchaser, so part of me understands.

It's a tiny business and I don't even think there is a union for what I do because most of my peers would be self-employed.
