The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.

Oh they’re really gunning for feminism over there now. Turning women on each other based on the colour of their skin. Dear women everywhere - do not do that thing where we’re so gaslight we spend all our time defending our own position. Stay strong stay united. Other women are NOT the problem

AI is taking what makes us human. This is incredibly sad and frustrating. I don’t want AI art I want real art! Books from real people. Music from real people. AI should be enabling US to do more of what makes us happy but we’re being run down by broligarchs 😢
If you’re not in the entertainment industry, you may not know- AI is DECIMATING film, television, music, gaming and online content. Hundreds of artists and creatives are losing their jobs EVERY SINGLE DAY. Tens of thousands already out of work, with no new jobs to apply to.

I get in preaching to mostly converted on here, but incase anyone wants to share a glimmer of hope 👇🏼
"What do I want from COP30? I want leaders who will look their children in the eye and say: We chose courage. We stopped subsidising destruction. We stood with the global majority who did not cause this crisis," writes @zackpolanski.bsky.social.

I’m so upset with our govt. A 3 line whip (😮) to stop a brick being put into new buildings. Please don’t let the swifts die
Swifts have declined 70% since 1994.

They fly from Africa to breed here, only to find we've blocked their nest sites.

A £35 swift brick nest box was proposed for all new buildings.

The construction industry lobbied Labour to block it.

Biodiversity sustains life. Labour sustains economic power.
