As I have seen others comment elsewhere, trump’s one strength is that he is so horrifically corrupt, and surrounded by a sea of corruption so thick and deep, that even trying to just talk about how bad it all is ends up sounding like a crazed conspiracy rant.

It’s like the anti Q-anon.

Despite several mentions of Italian ice-cream, there's no reference to the passegiata that occurs in all Italian towns and villages
Definitely worth a read, a great piece of social history. Teenagers promenading in towns and cities on Sunday evenings, flirting, cruising. It was dubbed the “monkey parade” or the “monkey run”.

Epstein was lying to Michael Wolff when he claimed he was never a member of Mar-a-Lago. A group of Miami Herald journalists saw the membership roster that showed Epstein belonging and getting kicked out in the fall of 2007 in their reporting for their book, Grifter's Club.
In July, @beyerstein.bsky.social had dug up an old Page 6 gossip item from the October 15, 2007, edition of the New York Post. In it, an anonymous source explained Epstein’s exile from Mar-a-Lago.

That anonymous source, she said, was almost certainly Trump.

The nation is consumed by speculation about the Epstein files. Trump’s admission may provide a critical clue, writes Lindsay Beyerstein.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

The notoriously litigious Donald Trump has been involved in over 4,000 lawsuits. The touchy litigant has even sued a network for editing an interview of someone else. But he has NEVER sued over allegations that his was a pedophile connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Hmm.

To quote Peggy Noonan, “is it irresponsible to speculate? No, it’s irresponsible *not* to.”
The important thing is not whether the Trump performing sexual favors for Bill Clinton thing is true. The important thing is that we all pretend it’s true, and that someone asks Trump about it every day.
