Hoping the rental place actually fulfills my Pacifica reservation tomorrow. My thanksgiving rental ended up being a Kia which was fine but not a minivan
we rented a chrysler pacifica for our trip down to see my folks after christmas and i now totally get why people like minivans. this thing rules.

I can tell you like my posts. It’s okay that you didn’t press like. I already just know it

Many people don’t know this: if you have this machine that says “that’s an apple” when you show it a picture of an apple, then it also can draw a picture of an apple when you say “apple”
just being run in reverse with no changes to the model or data.

I.e. they fed “Apple” into what used to be the output layer, and an image pops out the other end with what a detection or recognition models considers important Apple like features.

That’s why it’s very hard to distinguish technically

A parallel “note taking” agent is an interesting trick
Research introduces the Confucius Code Agent, transforming software engineering through orchestrated memory and tool use for improved reasoning on large codebases. Its innovative scaffolding outperforms existing models, enabling AI to manage complex coding tasks. https://arxiv.org/abs/2512.10398

In some sense, Stancilism is not-correct

In some sense, Stancilism is both correct and not-correct

In some sense, Stancilism is neither correct nor not-correct

I asked Claude to give me the name of this rhetoric (“antithesis”) and it also followed with,

> Other devices I probably overuse: parallelism (repeating grammatical structures), triadic lists (grouping things in threes), and perhaps too many clarifying parentheticals (like this one).
I hereby nominate ”not just x… it’s y” as another telltale for AI boilerplate

Remember when Firefox allowed you to install a user custom stylesheet to override the content from the server? What about when they let you run plugins that control the page with custom scripts? What conflicts of purpose
A web browser is an operating system, the collection of necessary mechanisms to create a platform for accessing and correctly rendering the content of the web. Any manipulation or distortion of that content is in conflict with that purpose.
If Firefox were taking it "seriously and absolutely" they'd simply say "we're not putting LLMs in our web browser, because it's a web browser."

Certainly I think I have better things to do with my time than to clutch pearls over people being too mean to AI boosters, quite frankly

A few weeks ago I used Kimi to design my henchmodel homelab. We sourced a few micros on eBay and a new managed switch. It helped me install Ubuntu and a k3s cluster that’s now fully operational with Argo gitops.

Next I’ll proxy up, then I’m getting Letta in there
