Governor Scott is not serving the people of Vermont. He complied with the Trump regime for the personal data of Vermonters.

Compare his capitulation to authoritarianism against the resistance of Maine.

Resist, Vermont. #vtpoli
As other states mount a legal challenge to the Trump administration's demand for residents' personal data, the Scott administration has voluntarily handed over the names, dates of birth, social security numbers and addresses of Vermonters receiving federal nutrition assistance benefits.

Nothing good happens after midnight. House Republicans are working very diligently on tax cuts for the richest people in the country and are making historic cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and student loans that will hurt our communities to pay for it.
Here's the latest on Trump's Big, Ugly Bill that would be the biggest transfer of wealth from working people to rich people in history. I'll be at Rules early Wednesday morning.

🎉 Big news for Vermont's littlest learners! 🎉
The NIEER State of Preschool Yearbook is out. Vermont jumped from 4th to 2nd for access for 4-year-olds — and remains 2nd for 3-year-olds!

We (the women of this country) have 99 problems (with considering parenting in 2025) and access to “fertility awareness education” isn’t one. 🙄
White House is considering menstrual cycle classes to boost birth rates.

Cute, but have you all considered paid maternity leave, childcare that doesn’t cost half a paycheck, safe schools etc?

🗣️ #TaxDay Reminder
This tax day, while you and I pay our taxes, remember that Trump and Republicans are trying to give a $7 trillion tax cut to billionaires like Trump and Musk.

Trump's budget proposal would cut all funding for Head Start — the federal preschool program that serves nearly 800,000 kids. (Project 2025 called for this.) The budget would also gut LIHEAP, the program that helps millions of poor families pay their energy bills

Today alone: We confirmed ICE arrested Rumeysa Ozturk without any evidence. Trump committed to deporting American citizens to El Salvador. They refused to return a wrongly deported man. And another student was arrested by ICE at his own citizenship appointment. Shameful.

Let’s be clear (and I’m speaking as an @harvardeducation.bsky.social alum), Harvard doesn’t get major kudos for today’s move. It was their responsibility to join the other universities with immense privilege speaking out about this administration’s efforts to dismantle our higher education system.

More than 40% of American families are struggling to find affordable child care.

What are Trump and Republicans doing about it?

Absolutely nothing.

They're too busy dismantling public schools so they can pay for billionaire tax breaks.
