I know we're not allowed to critique white people I just can't help but notice the kind of militarized response that BLM or Indigenous protestors are always met with is absent - and I can't help but wonder about the contrast and how little the state seems to fear these very white-led manifs.

White people in general havent collectively organized (outside of white supremacist circles) since the 60s during the downslope of the American labor movement or for the PEAK of the LGBTQ+ movements (who are the main exception). Thus they don’t know how to do it & THUS keep putting everybody at risk

Don't waste your time with "this is not the U.S. (or Canada) I know." It's useful to remember these societies were founded in white supremacist settler colonialism and never existed outside those systems. We may have shifted outside the wagon ruts but the ruts are easy to slip back into.
