sure `uv` is fast and all, but the experience is much shittier than pyenv. It also eats up a LOT of scarce disk space on my laptop. Switching back.

Now that Democrats are out of office, it just doesn't have as much resonance. Now, you could easily flip it to say "President Trump cares more about his ballroom than bringing down costs." It's hard to make anti-trans messages stick when coffee and bananas cost more.

Trans people need to be careful about talking about DIY. Yes talk about it in the general sense, quote the facts and figures but be careful. Don't give away sources to cis folks. Don't talk to journalists about the details. They're coming for it.
