The UK government claimed that "it is going further and faster to reform our approach to procurement so that it can shape markets and manage demand." We hope so - the Government should take the lead in making Real Living Wages and Good Employment a default condition for all public service contracts.

Regarding to Budget Day 2025, I believe Rachel Reeves has taken some reasonable decisions, however they do not go far enough.
The high-value homes Council Tax premium is a dismal compromise, as this does not begin to reform the nightmare that is Council Tax.
A Land Value Tax is the only solution.
