So striking to me that the argument is that people don’t trust the media and what will fix that lack of trust is letting a billionaire buy it and put his finger on the scale.

Bezos: A faction of Americans don’t trust the media because those Americans are at war with factual reality and hate seeing true things that make Trump look bad. To restore public trust, we must try to satisfy their unsatisfiable bad faith, alienating the reality-based Americans that still trust us.
