Trump wants to destroy the BBC and take our money. And Nigel Farage is egging him on.

All true patriots should tell them both: hands off our BBC.

It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.

Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

🧵 While the BBC remains fairly well trusted overall and one of the most trusted media sources in the country, the broadcaster has an image problem with Reform voters who are much less likely than average to say they trust the broadcaster and are split between trust/distrust.

On the way to the Festival of Remembrance, with Indi, 13. My thoughts in my column this week on how these traditions were invented to fill the identity gaps of the 1920s and how renewing them in the 2020s can be one way to bridge divides in polarised times

I saw this from across the train carriage and thought “Oh crap! Is he dead?” Of course it wouldn’t be the first time rumours had spread of Paul McCartney’s death.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo the best player ever to play for Manchester United? Possibly.
Is Cristiano Ronaldo my favourite Manchester United player ever? No way. Not even in the top 50.
Never interested in the team. Only interested in himself.

If this is what happens when Reform runs a council, just imagine Farage running the country.

Care homes closed and vulnerable people abandoned.

We cannot let Trump’s America become Farage’s Britain.

Just a few years ago, nurses carried this country through a pandemic, and now they're suffering a 55% surge in racist abuse.

To every nurse: London stands with you. You are loved and valued, and always will be.
