In the same week the Covid Inquiry concluded that introducing lockdown a week earlier could have saved 23,000 lives and a former Reform politician was jailed for accepting Russian bribes, #bbclaurak hasn’t expended a single second talking about it

That is absolutely appalling

I met Kate Crane when she was a young girl contending with her father's sudden disappearance. She was clearly wounded and softly eloquent in that moment. Almost four decades later, the same soul has taken those wounds and that eloquence on a great journey.

This is an exceptional book.
My dad disappeared from his Baltimore trucking company when I was a kid. 20 years later, I went looking for answers.

I did it to survive.

In telling this story, I hope in some way to help others do the same.

“Whatever Happened to Eddy Crane?” is out in April 2026. This is the cover…

The gulf between what London is actually like & how it is portrayed by terminally online, self-styled ‘patriots’ & their political heroes is absolutely incredible. I wonder how much it has to do with the city repeatedly electing a Muslim mayor…

London is officially the second-best city in the world, according to a prestigious new ranking

On this date was born novelist, playwright, poet, and Nobel laureate Samuel Beckett. Beckett, who would be 116 had he lived, offered a bleak, tragicomic vision of humanity. His writing is such that any deathbed quote we might conjure for him would seem credible, so I can't go on. But I will go on.
