28 years ago tonight, New Year's Eve, 1997/98, I had a lot to drink and asked Linda Bates to marry me. Apparently, she said yes, because in July of '98, we went through with it. Best decision I ever made. Christmas Day, 2022, she left this world. But the love remains undiminished. xo
