This Day in Buster... February 18, 1981
Buster Keaton’s sister Louise dies in Van Nuys, California, from cancer. She was laid to rest with her mother, Myra, although the stone does not include her name, as it would mean removing the original stone Buster had placed, which reads, “Beloved Mother.”

"The Navigator" opens in Hong Kong. Bet it opened easier than that helmet. According to Buster, it got stuck & he almost suffocated—Kathryn McGuire had turned it so it refused to open. Crew member Ernie Orsatti managed to get it free.
