The Kenosha News reports "Buster Keaton, now a writer at MGM, was the center of attention when he made an appearance at the Hollywood Canteen. He signed a total of 450 autographs for soldiers and literally 'stopped the show'."

‘The Hollywood Revue’ is released nationally by MGM. The movie featured the song, ’Singin’ in the Rain’ for the very first time, predating the musical of the same title by 23 years. It was sung by the entire cast but one.

“Our Hospitality” has its general U.S. release. Buster Keaton’s daring rescue of wife Natalie Talmadge took place on a constructed waterfall on the studio lot. It took three attempts to catch the girl (a dummy).
