The EHRC – the body which is meant to protect our human rights – is proposing guidance which would turn the Equality Act into a bathroom ban. If this becomes law, it would force trans people out of public life.

Dear #r4today, Autism is not a "mental health disorder", it is a form of neurodivergence, different thing. Yes autistic individuals do tend to be more likely to be trans or non-binary, that doesn't mean autistic, trans or non-binary individuals have mental health issues, get your reporting sorted.

Dear #r4today, Autism is not a "mental health disorder", it is a form of neurodivergence, different thing. Yes autistic individuals do tend to be more likely to be trans or non-binary, that doesn't mean autistic, trans or non-binary individuals have mental health issues, get your reporting sorted.

I am hopeful they will provide a useful contribution to how we re-construct trans rights by having a philosophical foundation that gender critical folk will find harder to disagree with (or to negatively caricature).
