It was painted by Mr Josh Kirby, who painted all the Discworld covers.
The German cover is giving Discworld vibes. Do you know if that was intentional?

@neilhimself.neilgaiman.com wishful thinking on my part. It may end up as one of my assignments for school, but will most likely land on AO3. I’m in love of every single one of these characters. Thank you for being a genius.

People, @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com is entirely right here. This is important, and not only to writers (or other artists). but for writers it’s an aspect of caring about your work, and about the people who matter in your life, and those you trust.

@neilhimself.neilgaiman.com this question comes to me during my fourth rewatch of Dead Boy Detectives, episode 7. Which might be one of my favorite episodes of any show I’ve ever seen.

@neilhimself.neilgaiman.com how do you write such depths? There are things in your stories that I’ve had hidden deep in my worst intrusive thoughts, and you put them on paper and show the world. I want to do that. How do you face the terror of facing the darkness and uncomfortable truths within?

PENCILS UP!!! ✏️

According to the WGA, writers can return to work at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time WEDNESDAY, 9/27— even while it plans membership meetings to discuss fine points.

One of the best parts of the WGA deal: AI has now hit a brick wall in Hollywood, *and that includes adaptations.*

Based on the deal, AI can't be source material. So if you're a publisher, AI novels or graphic novels or whatever just became that much less appealing because *they can't be optioned.*

Wow.

TL;DR: Bill Willingham is the lovely creator/writer of the Fables series of comics created for DC. He owns (or owned) the intellectual property rights. Due to reasons in the article - which amount to shenanigans from DC and his own philosophy - he decided to give the IP to the public domain.
Willingham Sends Fables Into the Public Domain
Here, below, is the press release I sent out today to explain what I did and why.

I've been on hold with my insurance company with 38 minutes to renew because my account was disabled for being inactive. I really just want to be able to get my meds and not die, why is this so consistently miserably difficult and complicated?
