Caught off-guard by how unhurried/light in tone BORSALINO is for much of its running time. Deray knows the carnage and tragedy will keep; he gives you ample time to simply enjoy 2 of France's most iconic actors hanging out and being cool. And boy does the dark shit hit hard when it finally comes.
