I’m tired of hearing about men and their standards. Grown men who are adults and act like it have standards, sure. But these little 22 year old boys on Reddit? Their “standards” are “warm hole with a pulse that stays still long enough.” Nothing they say is worth paying attention to.

I understand that stoic philosophy has grown in recent years.
Many are now saying, “stop worrying about what you cannot control.”
This is extremely triggering to survivors of childhood trauma.
Abused children had NO CONTROL over what happened to them.

Complex multi-cellularity evolved three times on earth (plants, animals, fungi) and only animals did it in a way that allowed them to be mobile. But there's no set reason why this is the case.

A lot of Americans, even on the left, think that when Trump is gone things will go back to normal. They won't. Canada cannot risk upending our entire economy every 4 years. We are transitioning to more reliable trading partners. We wish you the best, but we will not go down with the ship.
