When new Pokemon cards are revealed, I don't know why people get excited anymore. First of all, this is a scalper and hoarder game now. Second of all, Pokemon doesn't care because the product sells out. Third of all, even if you get packs somehow, the pull rates are as bad as you can imagine. Tired.

Some of this has been a coping mechanism for me to distract myself from the daily horrors of what my country has become since November, but at least Psypoke has been my outlet when I've really needed the distraction.
I really credit @johtotimes.bsky.social with this little Psypoke revival we've been on lately. Ever since I did my interview with him back in October, I've wanted to do and update more and more things after a very long period of not wanting to touch the site.
New page in the Psylab! This guide goes over mechanics and features of the Pokemon franchise that have changed across the Generations, such as base stats, abilities, moves, evolution methods, the day and night cycle, and more. May need to add more in the future.

Journey Together comes out in 3 weeks and booster boxes are currently $210 on eBay et al, which is nearly double how much a booster box for a new set cost 4 months ago. Fuck the Pokemon TCG.
