Anyone else find out that gmail (IOS and web) doesn't have the "send" icon (paper icon) any longer? I thought maybe I was out of space, corrupted IOS install, etc. but nothing fixes it.

“America” did not do this. Specific individuals in appropriate law enforcement areas are doing this. Am I, as an American, supposed to stand somewhere near the White House and prevent this?
I’m still baffled at how America took one of the basic principles of the presidency — the occupant shouldn’t be able to benefit financially from the office — and just said, nah, that just doesn’t count for this one guy.

TIL that American tipping culture came, in part, from the practice of the Pullman company paying their porters (mostly former slaves) very low wages do they would work harder to serve Pullman passengers to get good tips.
Pullman porters were Pullman employees, not railroad employees.
