One of the most infuriating things I notice among influencers is the persistent myth they promote that “we all create the life we want and so we all have the life we deserve”.

No. That’s absolutely not true and is an incredibly ignorant and privileged statement to make.

This has the votes to pass with bipartisan support, but Johnson is going to adjourn the House again to delay it as long as possible just like he did with Epstein.

A reminder to those who believe “Christmas shouldn’t be political”…the Gospel Christmas Eve begins not with Joseph, Mary, angels or shepherds but with Caesar Augustus and Quirinius the governor of Syria.

Christ wasn’t born into a vacuum but into a real political system affecting real people. /1

The US government has no right to tell us how to run our country, we have rules and regulations we follow, for them to tell us to take more dairy, take their alcohol and remove our Canadian content from digital services.....touch grass, stop interfering. #Canada

Which, again, premiers have outright refused to do.
If we're going to increase our rate of population growth, we have to expand our social supports and infrastructure, including schools and hospitals.

And not only did Carney buy into the scapegoating, he adopted Nigel Farage's language in the budget to do so.
(And the premiers who helped cause the situation continue to get away with it scot-free).
Yeah, as I've been saying, we overcompensated because the media ran with the stupid 'GDP per capita' and 'immigrants hurt housing' framing. This is long-run damage to the economy by short-term thinking, feeding xenophobia, and helping to further destroy Canada's world class universities.

I take serious issue with the US trying to bully Canada into making changes to our rules, regulations and trying to overrun our markets with American products. The US can promote their own businesses and markets and tell us to not intrude on their laws, that is fine, that's them,
